SWAT Team Deployed in Response to Disturbance in Irving Park, Chicago
A SWAT team was dispatched to the Northwest Side of Chicago on Sunday morning, following a disturbance in the city's Irving Park neighborhood. The scene was captured on video, showing SWAT team members, Chicago police officers, and squad cars near West Addison Street and North Karlov Avenue.
The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) has announced that the 152 Addison Street bus route is being rerouted in both directions via Addison, Pulaski, Belmont, Cicero, and Addison due to a street blockage near Addison and Pulaski. However, further details about the disturbance and its cause are yet to be disclosed.
